Penfold’s Kitchen is a fantastic new cafe opposite the BRI. You can find Bosh’s amazing cakes on sale there.
As they are only open during the daytime they have decided to team up with Bosh to bring you the Bosh Supper Club: a monthly event to begin with, with the first supper taking place on Friday 3rd May.
£30 per head will get you the following fantastic menu for the first event…
– Canapes and cocktail on arrival
– Seasonal vegetable soup
– Sharing platters of:
Local asparagus with Parmesan and lemon
Charred aubergines with chilli and garlic
Shredded apple and carrot salad with hazelnuts – all served with some amazing bread
– Egg yolk raviolo with spinach, herbs and ricotta in a brown butter, served on a courgette fritter with a fresh asparagus, courgette and lemon salad
– Rhubarb sorbet
– Lemon posset with rosemary shortbread and lemon curd
Drink is on a BYO basis, with a £1 corkage charge which will go to support the Wallace and Gromit children’s charity. Juliet has also very kindly offered to donate £1 per booking to my Live Below The Line Challenge – full details available here. Thanks Juliet!
