Pop up shops are not new but pop up food is the latest incarnation of the ‘grab it while you can’ retail phenomena. Soul Burger, one of Bristol’s first pop up food offerings, will appear at Crofters Rights, Stokes Croft between 17th – 21st February.

Soul Burger, a festival food brand based in Bristol and inspired by soul music from the 50s to the current day, will feature crispy soulful wings with a spicy twist, a new ‘de-la-soul’ burger combining crispy bacon and blue cheese, a vegetarian ‘Aretha Franklin’ burger, plus soulful specials every day. First up -Smokey Robinson. Prices range from £4.95 to £7.95. You can see the menu by clicking here.

One of the four partners, Syvieng Saysana, commented on the pop up:

“Food and music are intrinsically linked and that’s been the inspiration for our menu which we’ve showcased at some of the UK’s biggest festivals over the last few years.

“This opportunity has come about as part of the BEATS collective which aims to blend the South West’s freshest street food offerings with up-and-coming music, artists and performers.

“The partnership with Crofters Rights – a great music and entertainment venue in the heart of Bristol’s vibrant Stokes Croft district – perfectly reflects our ethos and we’re excited to be able to take over the kitchen and bring the menu to a new crowd.”
