With more than three weeks to go, fifteen restaurants, cafés and delis across Clifton Village have signed up for Clifton FoodFest, a new festival for food lovers that gives people the chance to eat out for just £10.

Clifton FoodFest, the first of its kind in Bristol, will celebrate Clifton’s diverse range of restaurants, cafés and delis by bringing together an assortment of its finest eateries, each offering an exclusive £10 offer.

Building on Bristol’s strong foodie reputation, this food festival with a difference will run between Monday 31st March and Sunday 13th April, offering an affordable option for both lunchtime and evening meals.

People from across Bristol will be able to enjoy a variety of delicious £10 deals at some of Clifton’s most prestigious dining establishments, including Rosemarino, Bridge Café, Arch House Deli, Primrose Café, Somerset House, The Mall Deli, Prosecco and The Clifton. To see all of the offers involved, visit www.cliftonfoodfest.co.uk.

Clifton FoodFest is the brainchild of BID Clifton Village, the Business Improvement District formed in 2012 to support organisations within the area and enhance Clifton’s offering.

Guillaume Lesage, general manager of Avon Gorge Hotel said:

“We already have a really strong food culture in Clifton and this year we wanted to get involved with something new in the Village. With so many restaurants on our doorstep, Clifton FoodFest made perfect sense.

“We’re delighted to be a part of the festival and join so many fantastic names that have already signed up and willing to offer deals that are such good value for money. Food is central to any event so the festival will be a great opportunity to highlight not only the variety of restaurants, cafés and delis in the Village but some of the great local food we eat – and all for just £10.”

Everyone who takes part in the festival will have the chance to win a meal for four at Bridge Café by tweeting pictures of their £10 offer using the #CliftonFoodFest hashtag. The winner will be chosen by the BID team once the festival has come to an end.

To help diners digest their delicious food, people are being encouraged to take in Clifton’s extraordinary setting with a stroll around its eclectic mix of shops and beautiful Georgian architecture or up to some of its most famous attractions such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Observatory.

Diners should mention FOODFEST when booking to enjoy this fantastic offer.
