Following the success of their Summer Beer Festival in 2013, the team behind The Swan Hotel in Almondsbury will be hosting a Summer Cider Festival on Saturday, July 12th.

The award-winning pub, restaurant and hotel will be celebrating the summer with over 25 different ciders and perries made in the South West and Wales, with producers including Gwynt y Ddraig, Sandford Orchards, Once Upon A Tree, Rich’s and more. There will also be a selection of guest ales available for those preferring hops to apples.

Hungry festivalgoers will be able to enjoy fresh fish, homemade burgers and handmade sausages straight from the BBQ, and live music all day will add to the festival atmosphere. Staying true to their family-friendly roots, The Swan will also be organising a range of activities for children, making the Summer Cider Festival an event that the whole family can enjoy.

Says Garth Jackson, owner of The Swan Hotel, “We’ve seen cider becoming more and more popular in recent years, and our Summer Cider Festival is a celebration of one of our great local tipples.”

Tickets for The Swan’s Summer Cider Festival are available at £5 per person, which includes the first pint of cider. Cider fans should also visit The Swan’s Facebook page, where they will have the chance to win a 36-pint bag in box of cider, with the prize available to collect from The Swan.
