River Cottage HQ favourite Steven Lamb will be hosting a Smoking and Curing evening at Bristol’s River Cottage Canteen on Tuesday 28th July.
The evening will feature a show and tell along with talks from Steven, whilst guests enjoy a three course set menu. The menu has been carefully created, focusing on smoked and cured food and guests will also get a chance to purchase signed copies of Steven’s Smoking and Curing River Cottage Handbook.
Steven is well known for his charismatic appearances on the River Cottage television series and will be on hand to show guests how to smoke and cure meat and fish to create delicious homemade delicacies.
Steven talks in more details about the evening: “Smoking and curing different cuts of meats is all about exploring your own tastes and not being afraid to venture into the unknown with your smoking and curing mixes. This evening is perfect for those wishing to start home smoking as well as those who already turned their hand to it, but want to learn more about the art of smoking and curing.”
Tickets are £28 which includes the 3 course set menu. Booking is essential for the evening, with two sittings at 7 and 8.30pm.
