PERi-PERi chicken restaurant Nando’s has announced its Nando’s Yard tour, visiting three major cities (including Bristol) with an exciting line-up of local music talent and established headliners.
As well as heading to Birmingham and Leeds next month, Nando’s Yard on Tour is hitting Bristol’s Lakota on Wednesday, November 3rd. Headlining will be Notion, Sicaria Sound and Grove as well as CNCPT Collective residents.
Nando’s has worked closely with local promoters to help champion Bristol’s music scene and culture. Originally announced in June as a celebration of the end of lockdown restrictions, they decided to postpone until later this year because of the uncertainty around COVID-19.
It’s not just about the music, though: every student who attends will receive a wristband entitling them to a free quarter chicken or starter in their local Nando’s restaurant up to 48 hours after the event, as well as access to exclusive merch on the night.
Tickets to the event can be bought online here, priced at just £5 each. £1 from every ticket sale will be donated to South African non-profit, Bridges for Music, who help support developing countries and disadvantaged communities while raising global awareness of local issues through music.
