The UK’s only German restaurant chain will be opening their third restaurant on August 29th in the centre of Bristol.

Bavarian Beerhouse already have two London restaurants, with the third coming to 46-48 Queen Charlotte Street (previously the home of Azucar and Tahiki). With a 200 cover seating area downstairs and a private dining area of up to 50 upstairs, they are already taking Oktoberfest and Christmas party bookings.

Expect to be served by men in Lederhosen and women in Dirndls – all staff in the other two restaurants are native German speakers, so it’s quite possible that we’ll see the same in Bristol. The incredibly German menu – including sausages, pretzels, schnitzel and roasted pork shanks – features authentic German food imported from Germany, and table service for both food and drink means that you can ask the staff for menu explanations and recommendations.

The drinks menu features a huge variety of German beers, alongside schnapps, spirits, soft drinks, wines (strange that there are no German wines on the menu) and even a German apple cider.

Entertainment includes oompah music, Oktoberfest, German football screenings and Bavarian fun nights…it looks as though we’re soon to have another very lively venue in the centre of Bristol! Keep an eye on their website for more information…
