After a four year break, talented chef Jethro Lawrence has returned to The Cowshed on Whiteladies Road as their head chef.
Pembrokeshire-born Jethro joined The Cowshed’s team on their opening in 2009, before leaving a few years later for pastures new.
During his time away, Jethro has steadily gained a reputation as one of the South West’s most eminent chefs, gracing the kitchens of award-winning establishments and receiving a number of accolades and nominations in the area’s local food awards – including the King Of The Grill title at Grillstock.
Some may also recognise Jethro as a quarter finalist in the 2014 series of BBC MasterChef: The Professionals.
Says owner of The Cowshed, Adam Denton, “We look forward to revisiting some of the Cowshed menus of old, whilst also introducing new flavours, ideas and techniques to the table – look out for the launch of the new summer menu shortly.”
