It’s Christmas pie time at Pieminister!

Head over to Pieminister’s original restaurant in Bristol where a three course Christmas pie feast awaits. Available from the 16th November at Pieminister Stokes Croft, you’ll be able to enjoy a cocktail and a platter of starters to share, before tucking into your favourite Christmas pie.

There’s a Vegetarian Society Approved Cheddar and chestnut pie, a rich game pie, a super-luxurious steak and Stilton pie (all Gold Star winners in the 2015 Great Taste Awards) and a new variety this Christmas: a turkey and all the trimmings pie, from Pieminister’s new Open Top pie range. Served with buttery mash, braised red cabbage and a cranberry and port gravy, you can also pimp up your pie with a stick of pigs in blankets or a sprinkling of West Country Cheddar and crisp shallots.

Alternatively, you could try the brand new gluten free Three Kings Hot Pot: slow-cooked free range British turkey, free range British smoked bacon, parsnip and cranberry topped with crisp crushed potatoes.

Finish your feast with a warm chocolate brownie (or a West Country cheese board for an extra £4.50). From just £20 per person, this is a great place to celebrate Christmas with work mates or friends. And if you book a table for eight or more you’ll be treated to a signed copy of the Pieminister cookbook ‘A Pie for All Seasons’ worth £14.99.

The full festive pie range is also available at Pieminister’s cosy café in St Nick’s Market, as well as at the Tobacco Factory Market every Sunday. The four festive pies are also available in selected branches of Waitrose.

Pieminister’s Christmas pies for 2015 are as follows…

MISTLE MOO – A British beef steak & Long Clawson Stilton pie with chestnuts, free range British bacon & Port.

CHRISTINGLE – A roast parsnip, chestnut & West Country Cheddar pie (vegetarian).

DEER SANTA – A wild British venison, free range British dry cured bacon, red wine & green lentil pie.

THREE KINGS – (Open Top Pie) A free range British Kelly Bronze turkey pie with free range British smoked bacon, parsnip & cranberry.
