T.G.I. Friday’s is bringing its famous Friday feeling to Bristol’s Cabot Circus complex in June 2013.  The new restaurant will be able to serve over 270 guests at any one time and will create over 90 new jobs in the city.

Positioned in the heart of the one million square foot shopping centre development, the restaurant will feature a lively and energetic square ‘island’ bar area where Friday’s expert bartenders can shake and serve over 500 different cocktails.

Diners will be able to enjoy a combination of American food favourites including Friday’s 12oz Monster Burger, fall-off-the-bone tender Jack Daniel’s Double Glazed Ribs, and the Popcorn Brownie Sundae. The restaurant will feature an ‘open’ kitchen allowing guests to see their food flame-grilled to perfection before their very eyes.

David Carroll, T.G.I. Friday’s UK Director of Acquisition and Development, said: “We’re really happy to be opening our second restaurant in Bristol. Our Cribbs Causeway location has become a firm favourite with those in the city and the time is right to open another thanks to this strong demand.

“It’s great to be creating almost 100 new career opportunities for the Bristol community as well as continuing to spread our legendary Friday’s experience within the city.”

In addition, Friday’s is working with youth unemployment charity Springboard and is committed to helping those out of work get a chance at an exciting career. Half of all team members recruited to new Friday’s restaurants in the last year were previously unemployed, so the opening represents a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is unemployed in Bristol to start an exciting new career in the hospitality industry.

Friday’s is currently looking for potential team members for the new restaurant and those interested should go to www.fridoids.co.uk to find out more about how to get an audition. Having finished third in Sunday Timed Best Places to Work, it is a career opportunity not to be missed.
